Campgrounds Tree Work Starts June 21st

Kīholo Campgrounds Tree Work Underway

After months of working closely with the Division of State Parks, the Kīholo campgrounds tree work will begin this week! Learn more about what’s been going on in our Camping Update blog post. Please keep a safe distance from the ongoing tree work to ensure your safety.

Campgrounds and Road Closure

Due to tree work being conducted in the area, the Kīholo campgrounds will be closed starting June 21st, 2022 until tree work is complete. During this time the road to the campgrounds area will also be closed, and there will be minimal parking at the day use area. Please help us to ensure the safety of our community by being attentive of posted signage and instructions from our Hoa ʻĀina staff members.

We will provide another update when the campgrounds area and roadway are re-opened.

Mahalo for your cooperation as we work diligently to maintain a safe campground for our community! We will keep you posted on our progress. You can stay up to date by signing up for our newsletter and following our blog and social media channels.
